These Girl Brains have quickly become a staple of the YEG sketch comedy diet with zany material, girl-power appeal, and inspiring local guest artists. I’m certain their track record of sold out shows will also be a trend this Fringe as they continue to offer high quality, locally-sourced comedy, brought to you by beyond-meat brokers (innuendo fully intended) A&W. Regular FanGirl Brains will thrill to see some favourite sketches, like the classic tales from The Weeping Vag, the ever charming Anxiety & Depression, and my new favourite, green gremlin demon Alyson! And if you’ve never seen their show before, NOW is the perfect time! Either way, this six bean blend (innuendo fully intended) embodies everything we love about YEG Sketch Comedy with accessible chuckle material galore.
